There are also many websites that provide free access to audio books.
- Project Gutenberg has digital access to out-of-copyright material: from The Odyssey to Heart of Darkness and beyond.
- SYNC offers free Young Adult & Classic audio book downloads in the summer months to introduce the listening experience.

BBC iPlayer is the home of all digital content from the 12 BBC stations. Everything is covered search programmes from the last 7 days that cover News, Sport, Drama, Documentary, Top 40 music or the latest indie tunes.
Every week, the folks at This American Life in Chicago produce a 1 hour programme exploring aspects of the American culture through the work of writers, artists, producers and every-day people. Often hilarious, always inquisitive, the show has world-wide appeal as many of the aspects of the American experience relate to the human condition in general.
